Michelle Louise Reid lost her battle with epilepsy March 2, 2005 at the age of 22. Diagnosed with epilepsy at age 16, she saw four neurologists and received assurances that by following a regimen of medication, she would be able to live a “normal” life. But the seizures continued. She fought hard to not let them rule her life, but the disease won.

Michelle’s family have kept her life and memory in their hearts. Since 2017, they have channeled that love and energy to raise money for epilepsy and SUDEP research with their annual The Michelle Reid Golf & Gala in support of epilepsy research.
