We are very pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Eliminating Epilepsy Golf Tournament is set for Thursday, July. 20, 2023, at Fort Langley Golf Club.
Fort Langley Golf Course, established in 1968, is a hidden gem in a country setting situated on the banks of the Fraser and Salmon River. Playing from 5,292 yards to 6,383 yards on three sets of tees, we have something for every level of golfer, presenting a risk-reward opportunity for serious shot makers without sacrificing playability.
Meet your event organizer, Chelsea Kern!
I was introduced to Epilepsy more formally back in 2016 when my partner and I started dating. It was then I took it upon myself to learn as much as I could to have a better understanding of what I was facing and how I could help possibly make a difference in his life. So, I decided I wanted to try to make an impact myself.
I am extremely excited to host my 2nd annual golf tournament this year and partner with Epilepsy Canada, and will continue to plan these events for years to come.
What continues to impact me and my family is the lack of research and all of the unknown that is still present. There are SO many cases of people who live with this disorder to which there is absolutely no explanation or cure for at this time.
I hope with time I am able to make a significant impact with Epilepsy Canada, where we can help fund the research of a new medication or surgery and or find a root cause.
Thank you for your support and efforts in finding a cure!
