“Faith in a cure and hope in Epilepsy Canada that we can make this aware to everyone and help find a cure.”
Ron’s Story:
I have been living with epilepsy pretty much all my life, Since I was in my early teens. I was young and had a weird jitter and mornings were always bad. Even now mornings are rocky but I have seen several doctors about my epilepsy, Well in the beginning it was hard to deal with the epilepsy as I could not control it. I have been on several meds over the past years, some I forget and have seen several doctors and not all doctors are great but one main doctor that changed me from Dilantin to Divalproex and it has been amazing. Alex Tsiaprailis has been a big help to me.
Living with epilepsy is tough cause you wake up groggy hard to start your day and when not medicated it's even harder yes. There is some discrimination in work places as some people see you as a liability that's why i broadcast and roast coffee pretty much do my own stuff, I was also told I would not be able to sim race but I beat the odds and so happy now and really happy, Roasting coffee is amazing its a side hobby I don’t make much on it but I make the best coffee wish more people would ty it its really good.
As for a cure that would be so amazing but I am care to have a surgery but if there was a cure I would like to see it I know it says in the bible Jesus cured Epilepsy so I know there is a cure out there somewhere we just need to find it what keeps me going is faith and hope. Faith in a cure and hope in Epilepsy Canada that we can make this aware to everyone and help find a cure.
