Aiden’s Story

Aiden.jpg

Aiden is the sweetest and most loving boy, a family could ever ask for, such full of life and with a real big personality. On March 28th, 2016, our lives changed forever. Our baby, did not wake up that morning and this was the worst day of our lives. He was found in his crib having a major seizure, fortunately, the paramedics were fast and fantastic. 4 days later, Aiden was diagnosed with epilepsy, a neurological disorder without a cure.

Now, our 2 year old son is taking medication twice a day and that is 2 times too many than what we want. The medication has prevented another seizure so far, but will his body get too used to this medication? We do not want our son to have to rely on medication for his entire life! We consider ourselves lucky because there are many families with children that can’t control the epilepsy with medication. We must do something about this and we are going to find a cure, not just for our Aiden, but for all children… they are our hearts and our future!
